Professional Experience<\/h2>\n

Following a period of work experience at the European patent office in Munich, Jesus joined a Madrid based law firm specializing in Intellectual property. In 2003 he joined Grau & Angulo where he has been a partner since 2009.<\/p>\n

Specialising in Patents, Trademarks, Industrial Designs and Information Technology, he has extensive experience handling leading trademark, industrial design and patent cases before the Spanish Courts, including the Spanish Supreme Court, and in arbitration proceedings. He has additionally been involved in giving advice in IP protection, licensing and contractual matters.<\/p>\n

Regarding patent matters, Jes\u00fas represents a range of high-profile clients within sectors including telecommunications, electronic and mechanical patents. He has extensive experience in SEPs litigation in Spain, having coordinated global programs for enforcement related to SEPs, and has given legal advice in FRAND matters and SEPs licensing in the areas of 3G, 4G and 5G and IoT.<\/p>\n
